Yes that's true, the other day I was buying a pack of Paracetamol from the chemist, and surprised to see how small the pack has become, the price was the same but the number of tablets were less. Cake of soap was the same, the items was getting smaller and smaller, while the prices either being the same or more? I though this is how the companies trying to survive while keeping their customer base intact. No one is shying away because of the cake of soap is smaller in size or the pack of Paracetamol doesn't contain the required number and size as earlier! We have to survive in this difficult times!

Most of my family ( in laws) were or are teachers. In saying that the work load increase, integration of children of all abilities and constant expectation of updating knowledge/ skills, being available to families, lack of support and low remuneration has come to this. Dubious or flimsy behavioural guidelines and expectations for student/ teacher interactions has cemented it. An overhaul is needed. And honestly I think classes need two teachers per average class as well as an aid if required. It's not the same as it was when even I was at school. Burn out is common. Teachers for the most part are good, the problem is retaining them. There just isn't long term experienced teachers willing to put up with the working conditions. I challenge anyone to work with 25- 30 children of any age everyday and be at their best 100% of the time.

I have no problems with apps,BUT I wont pay for them.....I make my own appointments and I know what I am doing.....I am not that stupid

Yes ,try dealing with fhe Victorian housing people. I was asked to fill out forms and get back onto their endless wait lists as they had taken me off and not even notified me. Dr filled them but then they wanted me to go back and get another letter to explain exactly why i would need proper heating and cooling ( l have a medical condition well known for requiring this) ln fact i already have medical cooling concessions on my power bill . But no.., i was then told i needed to go back again for another letter explaining in more detail. And a complete new form as the other one is now obsolete??? So i have to run around and jump through hoops. The Dr gets paid 3 times .. . And they've now taken me off the lists again ( l was not told this i had to inquire by a third party channel who found out for me ) This how people with disabilities are treated . All i got was " l'm sorry you're in this situation and i wish you all the best" .This from the main housing group that are supposed to help people in crisis. I'm so fortunate my landlords have currently put a hold on selling this place as the bureaucracy in govt depts is gobsmacking.

One of my daughters-in-law wanted a dishwasher in their first home. I had been married for 12 years, had 3 children and the cash to buy my first dishwasher. Then I had to get a carpenter to cut into my kitchen cupboards for a place for it. We started small, 3 bedrooms, separate toilet and one bathroom in a location we didn't really want to live in, but today they want everything all at once. We went without eating out and we didn't have a phone. Coloured TV had to wait until the old one broke down. However, we didn't feel we were disadvantaged or hard done by. I think it made life simpler.

We should all watch Colossus: The Forbidden Project. Or The Terminator. It's here. It's there. It's dangerous. I'm not so worried about it in my life because I can try to limit it to a point. It's the AI in government and military hands that makes me a little frightened.

You have a choice! Nothing forcing you to use it - anything involving technology relies on power - have an outage and you have problems - reset this that and the other - why do you need technology to run everything in the first place? I have a key that opens my front door and if the power is out who cares! it will come back on sooner or later.

My wife. Was not on sale but my best choice ever. Reliable and hard working. Gets better with age and looks outstanding.

Gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation and emotional abuse. The manipulator deliberately distorts the truth, denying facts or the victim's feelings, to make the victim doubt their own memory, perception, or sanity. The ultimate goal is to gain power and control

I often chat to myself (and occasionally to my husband - he passed a couple of years ago but I still like to tell him when something happens that he would be interested in).

One, buy generic (not brand name) - when it comes too food. Generic is as tasty as brand names! Two, stay away from microwaveable (convenience) foods (too expensive) and you pay for convenience in a grocery store. Last, set up a monthly grocery budget and (tried) to stay within your monthly grocery budget!

In Melbourne Australia, it is illegal to buy or set off personal fireworks. You can go and watch the big fireworks events. I personally find them boring. I have seen the drone lights displays and find them more appealing and no noise.

I will 100% step in and say something.. I have many times in the past and will at any opportunity. I was bullied as a kid then abused by my ex as an adult in public many times, but it took years for me to stop living in fear, and now I will stand up for anyone!

I have been self employed for over 30 years. I worked between 100 and 120 hours per week, until my heart attack at 40 years old. I reduced my work to between 60 and 80 hours per week. I had huge insurance costs and half my money was taken by the government as tax not including the gst. I dont smoke, dont gamble and rarely ever drink. I never waste money on junk food or things I dont need. I pay full price for dental and medical treatments, which i cant afford at the best of times. I am now 59, semi retired with destroyed shoulders, and currently unable to work until my shoulders heal. I have a small superannuation account that i cant access as yet, and not elligible for the age pension because i own my home. When i sit on my porch enjoying a coffee and look down the hill at the goverment housing development, I see 3 late model BMW's, 2 late model Mercedes, a HSV Commodore and plenty of SUV's etc parked in the driveways. These individuals are home most days when not at the club playing the pokies, drinking and smoking in their sun chairs. I look at my 16 year old work van that is also my transport, no A/C and rust spots surviving on about $150 to $300 per week taken from my personal savings and wonder if all my hard work was actually worth it. Regardless of that, I have self respect and have a personal satisfaction of my achievements. A raise in benefits makes no difference in my world. My personal oppinion is that benefits should be only for those who absolutely require it which should include other benefits based on individual needs. If you are able to work, then you should. Be an assett and not a financial drain.

Allergies didn't just 'appear' spontaneously after 1985. Simply because you don't know anyone who was allergic to nuts or had coeliacs before that time doesn't mean they didn't exist. Better medical diagnostics has certainly made diagnosis easier, so people who had been sick all their lives now had a name for their condition & guidelines for how to avoid symptoms from occurring. My friend is 58 & has been coeliac all her life, as well as having allergies to other food items. She didn't suddenly become coeliac in 1985, nor did her mother who is in her 80's. My sister is in her 70's & has always had digestive issues in regard to milk. She's only known in the last 10 years that the reason is she is lactose intolerant. Prior to that she was just bloated & and felt sick if she drank milk etc. Now, she avoids symptoms by choosing lactose free milk. People certainly did die from anaphalysis due to nut ( & other allergies) before 1985. For some people exposure makes them feel ill, others it can be fatal. Better access to epipens has increased survival. Has the rate of new allergies increased or are more people who have intolerances etc being diagnosed? I'm not sure. I would need to look at actual scientific studies to see what the conclusions are on that one but allergies & intolerances did not just suddenly appear, they have been with us for a very long time.

Why do you need to show off your bare body? Isn't your body a precious and personal part of your being. I do not like nudist. Cover up people, Be respectful of others

Mine, IMO, is kind of unique. I had been working in marketing for McDonald’s and I was overseas opening up the first store in New Caledonia. There was a female staff member who was having a threatened miscarriage and she was taken to the white hospital in the capital. She didn’t lose the baby but that experience led me to look at the hospital for the indigenous population and I was very disappointed in the difference of care and the infrastructure which the Kanak people had access to in comparison to the French speaking population. After returning to Australia I made the decision to apply to University and study Nursing and become a Registered Nurse instead. That career choice was the best decision I ever made and although I earned less money the satisfaction was far greater than selling hamburgers to 3rd world nations. Thanks for reading.

Parents no longer give children rules or boundaries which accounts for some problems. I also notice babies no longer get definite sleep patterns. In my day when it was time for baby to sleep we left them to sleep but now mothers are out and about with crying babies and children annoying everyone else. Children are sleep deprived and undisciplined which isn't a good combination, then they go to school where the teachers spend hours trying to corral the noisy and disruptive children in order to begin a lesson on how white people invaded Australia, the earth will burn up in climate change and global warming and finishing with are you a boy or a girl, don't worry because it no longer matters.

Give up on renewables and give us affordable electricity. Mind you own business about international affairs. House the homeless and young people who can't afford to buy a home. Get your act together! You are only PM because of preferences.

I would like to have a power to ease pain and suffering in aged people, to reverse old age so they can still enjoy life

It's a perpetual scam. They research "cures" to ENSURE the money keeps rolling in. But, if they just looked at the CAUSES of issues...they wouldn't GET money for research because they would know HOW to heal...and, to be fair, it is VERY easy to heal anything...but, they don't know this, and, if they do, they purposely maintain their status quo so they KEEP YOU SOMEWHAT SICK so they can MANAGE your issues, PROFITING OFF YOU THE WHOLE TIME...AND, practicing the SLOW KILL as they push allopathy onto you via petroleum based pills...that NEVER fix anything, they just "mask" the issue, and it just festers internally. These things are set up to TRANSFER WEALTH from US...to THEM. End of story.

People are selfish. Everyone is an hurry to nowhere. No one wants more police on the streets. However, it may be necessary for a larger police traffic presence to alter driver behaviour. As stated elsewhere, harsher and stricter penalties might also be required. it's not just the speed. There is a general lack of awareness and understanding of the rules of the road. Better and more rigorous driver education standards combined with mandatory re-examination / relicensing for more serious offences might be helpful in altering behaviours as well.

This is unfortunately the problem the world will be facing with all of this so-called 'green' technology such as wind turbines, solar panels and lithium batteries when they reach the end of their usefulness. How is all of this going to be recycled? If it ends up in landfill, what sort of chemicals are going to leach into the soil and river systems?

I hope you dont drink alcohol, eat bacon or various other carcinogens. Glyphosate has been proven safe time and time again, you are just fear mongering with no scientific back up.

I have 11 piercings in my ears, 1 in my belly button & a few tattoos. My mother actually took me to get my belly button done since I was only 17 & I went with her to get her second piercing in her ears. I'm not a fan of some facial piercings or over gauged ears, but a small stud in the nose or ring in the eyebrow is fine. I think if you're qualified to do the job, it shouldn't matter what kind of piercings you have. If you're the face of a company, the employer should make it clear in the dress code policy. Don't judge a book by its cover.

Can someone explain to me why God doesn't answer the prayers of the people in Gaza or the hungry and their suffering. I cannot understand why such dreadful things happen, yet all the prayers do nothing. Religion in my opinion has been the cause of all the suffering. And don't even get me started on Catholicism and the Priests

Depends on the circumstances. I’m a migrant from another country without friends but freedom to choose what I would do and I was contented with that. I found solitude can be a source of healing and rewarding. Friends can cause more stress for you as you have to keep up with them and time and be with them can be all consuming. There are other things you can enjoy on your own that you are not dependent on another for happiness.

Equality has NEVER existed on this planet - you will FACE some form of discrimination (ageism, racism, sexism, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, lack of religious beliefs, social economic status, etc.) - before you DIE on this planet!

I truly believe that women in general have less rights now than they did when I was growing up in the 1960's. My mother was able to stay home and raise my brother and I and not forced to leave her home AND her children to afford the mortgage money for the house my father and her purchased together. They had 2 solid years working together at a factory before my mother fell pregnant with me and retired from the paid workforce and she was able to rest during her pregnancy and prepare for my arrival enjoying that time. Even on one income back then we had meat every night for dinner because back then you could afford it, not now! My mother taught me SO many valuable lessons of how to cook well but cheaply, how to sew and how to run a home. I, however, did not think that these lessons were valuable until I got older and unfortunately I bought into the feminist hype of the working woman being able to "do it all"! Absolute BS BTW as all I did was get on a treadmill for 25 years without stopping trying to be everything that my changing society told me was my right but ultimately missing out on some of the most important things in my 5 children's lives. I sent them along to Daycare because I was told it was as good as me caring for them and they'd be well socialised, but they cried when I left them and I abandoned them to a place of noise and no love. They will say to me today "Mum, do you remember when" or "do you remember so and so" and I have no recollection of those events or people because my headspace and I were somewhere else. I wish that I had realised the feminist lies back then and stayed at home raising my children myself and teaching them things of value. You can NEVER reclaim those moments you lost and I regret it deeply. I believe that we are less "women" now than we were before we had the right to choose whether or not to bring to term the children we carried in our wombs and we started trying so dang hard to be as good as men when we already were but in a different way! We got robbed of a lot of simple pleasures of watching our children play or having kids come home with our kids and ask to play in the backyard because there was always someone home back then. These days women, mothers especially, have to coordinate schedules and are often absent from the home and need to organise formal play dates with the other equally busy and exhausted parents of their child's friends. If THIS is what was meant by "progress" for women then we collectively were sold a lemon! Thanks for reading.

I have never heard of putting off fireworks. If you are going to put them off you don't need a license. If you let them off you might just BLOW your hand off.

I hardly ever eat out whether at takeaways or restaurants, and so I have to cook at home. I buy whatever vegetables are on clearance and I make meals with these and pulses as they're cheap. What I really enjoy is getting the "Red Book" out which I transcribed old family recipes from, which had paper that was falling apart, when I was 10 years old. As it's been almost 50 years since I wrote those recipes down and since the writing is fading away, it is almost time to rewrite the family recipes again and hopefully my children and grandchildren will decide to try them out when I'm gone. There are even recipes which refer to "remove plate from fire" which pre date even my own grandmother. The recipes are easy to make, relatively cheap and taste delicious. I like knowing exactly what is in my food and cooking at home from scratch provides me with something to look forward to eating! Thanks for reading and Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers out there!

It must be well past your nap time M1364377...your comments and calling people B****es and retard is inappropriate and offensive. I hope you are removed from here by the time you wake up and are packing your lunch for school.

Only one person can bring world peace to this earth. His name is Jesus Christ. He is the son of Jehovah God. Soon God will hand over the kingdom rule to his son, who will then cleanse the earth of all wickedness, and peace will reign forever! Please read Matthew 6:10; Matthew 24:14 and Psalm chapter 37 in your Bible! ;-D

If we came from the monkeys why has the ape population not evolved yet. I believe we were created in God's image.

Why is it up to schools again? Why isn't it a parents responsibility? I'm not so sure about unhealthy drinks because I have been drinking UP & GO thinking it was a healthy drink but have found it has additives and fillers. It could be doing me more harm than good. I'd be more concerned about drinks containing corn syrup instead of sugar because the liver can't break it down. Dental decay might be more related to poor dental hygiene than what is being drunk.

I don't get excited about specials and "specials". I always go by the unit price and very often the product not on special is cheaper if you check the unit price. Dishwashing tablets are typical and Vanish is another. Bigger isn't always cheaper.

I know how you feel. some time ago I found a supermarket docket in my handbag. I pulled it out to throw it away and being curious I read through it just to see what I had bought at that time and how the prices had changed. I rarely if ever checked my receipts. The receipt I was holding was almost 2 months old. Going through it I saw I had bought 33 cartons of long life milk. Living alone I only ever but 3 cartons at a time. Next time I was in that supermarket I went to the desk and showed them the receipt saying I knew it was old but I had found it in my handbag. To my surprise the lady called the manager and after I explained everything the manager `repaid the extra amount and apologised. I never thought for a moment that I would be repaid, so it just goes to show that you should always check your dockets

If Hawaii wasn't part of the US, I'd live there in a heartbeat. Definitely somewhere warm and tropical though, or perhaps southern Europe. That said, where I live now is beautiful, we have mountains, the ocean, and winters that aren't too cold most years. I'm quite content living where I do now (suburban Vancouver, Canada).

I started my working life as a musician and worked my way around the world. Became a nanny in London and was hired by Veronica, Lady Lucan. Left there to move to Egypt and my replacement was murdered by Lord Lucan. I went back to music as it fitted around my children and then retrained with degrees in Education and Psychology, later working in Juvenile Justice. I was widowed very young but apart from that, life has been an amazing and wonderful adventure.

I can really relate. My wife of 47 years passed away last year and I found myself completely alone. I would ask neighbors to come visit and keep me company. They all said NO either because I was too needy or I needed to get on with my life. Yet, when any neighbor needed help my wife and I were always there. Things that make you wonder!

It’s rude and time consuming. Don’t know how the elderly would cope with all the tech. Part of going out to dinner is being treated nicely by the staff.

Mine cheated on me. He wouldn’t consider counseling. Married her. I had a 2 and 4 year old. I have a great husband now.

Well I think if this is all we need to do to prevent climate change...I must be doing my bit...I'm growing moss in my gutters...🙃

I am positive some are using it to participate in some games. The top times displayed in classic solitaire are humanly impossible. Current top time is 94 seconds. Impossible with a mouse or finger. Just completed one with minimal moves and it still took 403 seconds. I have done them in a shorter time but 94 seconds ain't happening. 😆🤣😂 583 seconds on single card classic solitaire just now. One of my slower results mind you.

Regardless of country, I feel for anything to be labeled made in Australia, it should be designed, produced and manufactured of 100% Australian commodities and ingredients then packaged in Australia with 100% Australian made wrappings, the same as for each country.

There is no sure way to 'prevent' dementia; there are steps you can take that 'might' slow down the full effects of dementia. A lot more research is needed. However, it MIGHT help to do the following: Keep your mind active. Be physically active and socially active. If you smoke, then quit smoking. Get enough vitamins (see a general practitioner aka a MD). Manage cardiovascular risk factors (thru a medical specialist aka a MD). Take care of your mental health (thru a licensed psychologist and/or licensed psychiatrist) and neurologist (MD). Maintain a healthy diet (you are what you eat). Get good quality sleep. Treat hearing loss. Get regular eye exams and treat vison loss. Most importantly (to me) see a licensed MD (or as many medical doctors you need to see) on a regular basis. FYI: For me it is slowing down the full effects of being diagnosis with dementia at an early stage in life.

if you cant get customer support just remind them you can always always withdraw your custom and you will tell all your friends to do the same and why

My favorite 2 restaurants in Oak Harbor, Washington are El Cazador and the D&H Mongolian Buffet. Although the prices have gone up a few dollars, for $15 you can eat all you want at the Buffet, which has everything anyone could want, and on Monday El Cazador offers a Senior Citizen's discount of 50% off any Combination dinner, and the amounts have NOT decreased! That means a 3 item (including refried beans, Spanish rice, and a serving of avocado and sour cream on lettuce, + chips and salsa to start), $20 combo is only $10! I eat half there, and bring half home, which I eat for dinner! Find gems like these and you'll be able to enjoy your time eating out! 🤗😋🤭

Great read Christina C 😁 I for one am a doer, in saying that many ideas have been just that lol Great ideas are a part of being human and therefore evolution. Regardless of whats going on, anyone with a great idea I encourage to make it happen, don't let any barriers stop you because all great things start from some thing/one small.

Two words: corporate greed. Granted covid, wars, inflation etc have some effect, it's not anywhere as pronounced as new set prices would have you believe. Corporations have milked these things to hike prices and get away with it and are continuing to do so.

Arjun finally got Anushka to say "OK Arjun . .let's go upstairs now " !!! . . . . . . "OK" said Arjun . . "Just let me put the bin out and shut the back door and gate" . . . . . "Now or never" said Anushka. . . . "I am to be happy" said Arjun !

All a lot of Crap Same weather for hundreds of years Nothing to do with Climate change . I have so far lived a long time to already know this

I stayed with my husband for the kids and it was the biggest mistake because my kids suffered in the long run

I don't believe 'we' (governments cooperating together on this planet - solving our environmental issues and natural resources issues, etc.) have enough money to solve earth's many issues - all created by mankind. Might as well have a Plan B - exit this planet (Earth) and start our destructive human behavior pattern on another uninhabited planet ('still') it is a dirty, rotten shame we are condemned to repeat our history on another uninhabited planet in the universe (LOL))!

DO NOT LIKE THE MADNESS OF CHRISTMAS. WE SEEM TO FORGET THE TRUE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS AS EVERYONE GOES CRAZY AROUND THIS TIME OF THE YEAR.

I come school my child. I do not believe that children need to attend a main stream school. Parents can access so many different resources and facilities. Homeschooling allows kids to learn without disruption, without all the waiting. Kids queue to enter a school classroom they wait while students organise themselves, they wait while instructions and resources are distributed. Waiting to ask questions plus all the rest. Homeschool kids have access to as much socialising as mainstream school students if not more. This depends on the parents and locations. We do group sporting, Homeschool group activities, play sessions, group library activities activities. The difference i find with my kid is that they are socialising with kids of a wide variety of ages, stages, and walks of life. I have found Homeschool kids to be more friendly, they actually think more, are kind and great well rounded kids. I've not come across bullying and harassment behaviour. We live how we attend a monthly science activity. The kids get together and start group games. No parental instruction and they support younger kids or kids that may have disabilities and adjust things to include kids. These kids do this without any adult direction. Talking to the kids they take each kid individually likes/dislikes and all abilities. There has to my knowledge no restricting or isolation of any kids. They have been happy, confident, caring and intelligent kids. The kids can adjust attitudes and behaviours if they are playing games with toddlers, thru to high school kids and even adjusting games to include kids in wheelchairs or crutches, blind or other disabilities. They don't make a fuss of adjustments. An example was 12 boys (aged between 8 and 15 ) playing with a ball kicking it from one side to another. Then allowing some toddlers to have a kick of the ball and encouraging the little ones to be part of the game.

"taking a man's name" is antiquated and sexist. It is easier (legally) and cheaper to keep your own name (especially these days when people are in the habit of remarrying). When I was married, I always earned MORE than my husband so I find it offensive when people say "the man is the breadwinner" and I am talking decades ago (when we first married) right up until recent history when we divorced.

well I have no idea what you are talking about..what is a group home?..is this an American thing?...what country are we talking about please?

I used to believe family was everything. Life has taught me otherwise. Doesn't seem to matter with some how nice you are or what ever you do! You just keep getting abused and used. Friends you can choose!

I can give you a hint: CREDIT! Yes, these mostly young people who would, back in the day, have already been parents to a couple of kids and might be on their first or second marriages, are being propagandised to play it up and enjoy life WITHOUT responsibilities. Now everyone gets to choose their own path but this is by design. They are paid far more than I ever earned even though I have an undergraduate degree but instead of pesky kids to feed and educate they get to spend like the party will go on forever. Only they are deceived. Most will never be able to afford to buy a home of their own and many live with mates not family, except many still do well into their 20's or even longer. So their rate off disposable income is higher. Their nice cars though are often bought on credit which sounds brilliant to them until they get sick or lose their job that is! Then we have other available credit including the plastic cards but even more commonly nowadays are the Afterpay and Zip BNPL platforms and they can create massive problems which only this generation has seen. The whole "pay in 4" sounds great at first but if you haven't had a good fiscal education, and many have not, then the fact that you can buy a card, with Zip there's no upfront payment to do so although Afterpay requires 25% down, which you can use to dine out, travel, and buy basically whatever takes your fancy even though you don't have the money! I was amazed to find that you can buy groceries with these platforms, and if you are hungry then Im sure its invaluable, but the rest is just trouble! I've watched many financial channels where young people are interviewed and some of them are 50K in debt and they have zero assets. They've had to go bankrupt before they're 30! I understand that those who did the right thing and saved up money, scrimping for years to pay back their mortgage and only driving second hand cars until they own their home outright, like my own parents, certainly deserve to enjoy the fruits of their labour, but today is different and there WILL be a societal reckoning due to this and that won't be good for any of us! Thanks for reading.

The evidence of a Drop Bear attack to a teacher during a school camp. You've got to be careful of them, they attack when you least expect it.

Having had testicular cancer 20 yrs ago and deciding on what form of treatment to do was tough. .i chose radiation and in the end it worked out. But like many times and things in life one size definitely doesn't fit all

I think to go cashless they will have to change the law as what will be "legal tender' I am now in my eighties. I hope I die before this happens

I learnt that the govt is a dictatorship and refuse to listen to any opposing opinions. I never wore a mask unless at doctor or supermarket and I didn’t get any boosters. I was fine until I went to hospital and caught covid there. Headache and sore throat only on first day. 95% vaccination did not stop a huge rise in cases. I will never trust the govt again.

People are just Lazy. Its not just Litter the dump when and where they want to there are other things people do which also gets up our noses. Gyms. The great Big, Muscle-bound men and Women use equipment, particulatly Heavy Weights, and then simply leave them where they have been using them so that Gym Staff have to go around putting all that gear back on the racks, we even have one of them who uses the toilet, never flushes we simply assume that Mum/Mom, Dad or some servant at home wipes their bums and flushes for them The other annoyance is in Supermarkets. People go to the Service Delicatessen get a heap of Smallgoods and then later decide they don't want any of it. So what do they do? Take it back to the Delli? Of course not! They just dump it anywhere and never in any fridge so that when hours or even days later it is found it has to be thrown out. This costs the Supermarket owners and, just like Shoplifting, means that prices are increased to cover those losses. Is it really so difficult to keep your rubbish until you get home? You are big and strong enough to carry those FULL cans, bottles, wrapped sandwiches etc. into Parks etc. so why are you suddenly so weak you cannot carry the Empty bottles and cans, wrapping papers/bags out and dispose of them at home?

and only one more wish ..... " That Rewardia pay more for Surveys and Games." .......................... Ummmmmmm.

Sorry but I do not have any personal questions that I am afraid of being asked so I answer them and fire back at them a personal question they may be uncomfortable at answering! Tit for Tat!

I'm lucky that I am a multi millionaire, manage over a thousand staff, make all decisions re labour, training and hiring. My companies turnover is in excess of a Billion dollars annually. I do all the shopping and I am the sole shopping decision maker. I also like giving input re my use of mobiles and broadband both for business and home. Also I regulary watch and go to many films, and also watch TV and use and go to my Bank every week. Yes I do have All insurance products also. I am young, have many children and don't mind them doing surveys either. I also travel for business and vacation many time a year and know nearly all airlines. I regret I do not qualify re surveys re Cleaning products as I don't do that as I have hired cleaning help !!!

There have been so many stupid people, with such fragile egos, out there and everyone wants to prove they have the biggest d@*k! So you have whoever it is who is running the White House, because we all know that Biden couldn’t find his butt with both hands and a flashlight, who is pushing all of the LGBTQ+++++ crap, destroying the future of America, who is pushing the hatred between Jews and Arabs, Russia and Ukraine, China and the World, and doing everything they can to line their own pockets, with no care whatsoever about the Nation! Then you have the Europeans, who have been such big powers years ago, who still think they are top of the mountain, when they can’t even take care of their own people! The New World Order, funded by Soros and his Ilk, who have way more money than they can ever spend, and are just bored to death and decided they want to play in politics to get back at every perceived insult or slight that has happened to them in their lives, just spoiled 80 year old “spoiled children”, who have decided that if “You won’t play by the rules I just made up, I will take my ball and go home!” Sheer stupidity! If the governments of the world would just work together, there is enough money, assets and skills to give every person in the world, clean water, good food, a roof over their heads, abd safety from the ills out there! But no, EVERYONE wants to be in charge and control their own little corner of their world!

Last Night, a DJ saved My life is a song (a very popular song released by an American Musical Group - called Indeed in the dying years of Disco in the USA) - sold over 1,000,000 copies on 45 formats. I use music to link 'pleasant memories' in my mind - the safest place to hold fond memories that are near and dear too ME - in MY MIND - because I CAN visit my fond memories in my mind at any time (day or night).

I think it is dreadful to do this to intelligent animals be they dogs or cats and it should be treated as animal cruelty

I was never close to my parents or my immediate family on my father side or my mother side. I went on to become a runaway when I was a teen-ager - and never saw my parents or immediate family EVER again! Anyway, a very bad warning health sign is you stated your father recently fell - you need to schedule an appointment with a geriatrician and neurologist ASAP. After the health data comes back from both medical doctors - you and father need to have a heart-to-heart talk about his living on his OWN and any adjustments NEEDED for him to continue to live on his OWN! FYI: I turned 79 - yesterday - I see a geriatrician and neurologist - once a year - to make annual adjustments pertaining to the status of my health - so I can continue to live on my OWN!

Australia should have this nationwide...there is no excuse...we waste our taxes on rubbish...lets feed and love our kids

Renting is a problem when you let to many foreigner into a country who buy up properties and leave thise homes empty.. you know who these people are.

there are plenty of places for people to get food for nothing eg. Food Bank, Salvation Army, etc.there is no need for stealing, they set bad examples to the younger crowd

Stalin once said if you tell a lie make it a big lie because people will believe a big lie. Darwin came up with the theory of evolution, and it was only a theory as there has never been any proof. With the advances in DNA this theory has been blown out of the water and yet it is taught in schools as a fact. What did Darwin gain from what is a lie? Fame! Climate change is another lie that started as Global Warming but when it became evident that the world was not warming it was changed to climate change. The CSIRO know it isn't a fact but if they announce that the money tap will be turned off. Malcolm Turnbull pushes climate change, and why wouldn't he as he and his son are making a lot of money from green technologies. As with anything, follow the money. Just look at the money being made by people making and installing solar panels, electric cars and batteries. And all this rubbish needs replacing every 10 or 20 years. It is one huge con and many people have been sucked in either because they didn't really think about it or are too afraid to disagree. How on earth can mankind change the weather? There is the sun and moon with all their effects, undersea volcanoes spewing hot water that heats our oceans altering the currents which effects the rain we get. Climate change has been blamed for the recent floods which is totally incorrect, they were caused by El Nino which has been known by the South Americans for thousands of years. People should ask questions and not simply accept the rubbish pushed as FACT.

I am NOT a people person - I enjoy being ALONE without ever feeling LONELY! Furthermore, there is a BIG difference between ALONE and being LONELY!

We have no right to judge anyone as we do not know the complete story. There could be many reasons for a mother to leave, she may be putting her kids first, who knows? It would be such a hard decision. We have not walked in their shoes. Anybody who has made the decision deserves our support as well as the children and other parent. The last thing they need is others judging. How will that help a family?

I do editing and proofreading for work, and I never correct spelling and grammar when I’ve not been asked to do so. I think it is rude and can be a form of bullying and belittling someone. If the spelling or grammar is wrong but the meaning is clear, there’s no need to annoy the writer with corrections. And if no one ever made mistakes, I would have a lot less work!

At the moment it is convincing those selfish people who still refuse to be vaccinated against Covid. If we are ever to get a hold on this disease or become immune we must all be vaccinated so at least we stand a chance of surviving. Millions of precious people have died and maybe they don't belong to the unvaccinated but they did belong to others who loved and mourn their passing. Too many millions of others now suffer life long health issues because they caught the disease. Most of those I know claim "God protects me" .Well who protected the thousands of Christians and other believers who died? Others claim their body is their property and yet stick strange chemicals and other suspicious mixtures into their arms and up their noses and eat so called 'natural foods which are so chemically modified in order to make them edible. I am vaccinated but even catching the milder version now circulating will affect me because I already have severe respiratory problems and had lung cancer surgery. I know the unvaccinated will give all their silly, selfish reasons and I won't bother reading them because my number one issue is to live to see 2023!

And the sign said "Long-haired freaky people Need not apply" So I tucked my hair up under my hat And I went in to ask him why He said, "You look like a fine upstandin' young man I think you'll do" So I took off my hat and said, "Imagine that Huh, me workin' for you"

and pedestrians too...we could tax animals even...dogs using the footpaths...what about wheelchairs and motorised buggies?...kids triikes too...think of all the revenue!!!...we could make lots of money and crush everyone under our will....fantastic...we could tattoo numbers on people's heads....and if they didn't pay their taxes we could gather them all up and keep them in camps..... God I love discussion pages!

Like a lot of others, I get screened out of countless surveys - certainly there are far more outs than acceptances. There is absolutely no doubt that the main reason I get the 'cold shoulder' is my age. I am 77. Being rejected used to annoy me but I have come to accept that the so called marketing experts aren't interested in considered opinions from us older folk and believe that the world functions around the upwardly mobile with more money than sense. That's okay, they pay their money and get what they want but I wish they wouldn't waste everyone's time in this manner.

Yes but the system of getting a jab needs sorting out I am 88 in a couple of days and yet younger people are being done ahead of me

I think we have no idea what we are eating. How could we know? We aren't there where our food is grown or even worse where it's produced, handled and packaged. Unless you grow your own food and raise your own livestock, you don't know what you're eating. Even then, what part does the environment and the feed for the livestock impact the final product? Almost everything from the air we breathe to the items we interact with to the food we eat affects us. I'm more concerned with the electronics and all the things we can't see. I have proof that the electricity in our homes can kill us, even our pets and trees. Now there is so much more than just the electricity we use. All the devices we use affect us, and I feel we are forced to use them out of necessity. I hate mobile phones, but almost every company wants you to download an app which I think is for tracking purposes, but they make it appear to be for out benefit. When do companies EVER do anything just to save us money? That doesn't even make sense. I feel like we are lambs being sent to the slaughter and everyone just follows along. I try not to, but sometimes we HAVE to in order to do what we have to do. They assume everyone has a cell phone and internet. We should be able to make that choice and not be forced into using things that we don't even understand how they work! Maybe I'm just too old for this. Does anyone agree or am I paranoid? I've been around long enough to know not to trust everything. You can't even believe what you hear and see now with the AI which is another subject I'd like to avoid!

So much goes on in the racing industry. It is all about money and greed. It happens with horse racing and greyhound racing, rodeos and any form of animal exploitation. It is always about the money they can make out of an animal and when it is spent and considered no longer profitable, it is discarded. These animals are sentient beings, not commodities.

We had the split day in Junior Kindergarten in 1986. We went for the morning half....Senior Kindergarten in 1987 we went at lunch for the afternoon half. This makes sense for JK and SK because you get the child used to going to school. When Grade 1 came in 1988...I ran way from school every single day until Halloween at first recess. Why? My intuition, which I obviously did not realize at the time, was telling me to GET OUT OF THERE!!!!!! Needless to say, kids NOWADAYS should ALL be homeschooled because the predatory "teachers" pushing radical leftist propaganda is beyond out of control now. My niece will be homeschooled by my sister and this is already happening anyways even before she is school-aged. She is far more intelligent that kids her age and she has NEVER use a tablet, phone, NOTHING. She plays outside, she plays inside, she reads books, she helps in the kitchen, she goes on adventures outside, etc. This is TRUE development, not glorified babysitting and brainwashing by questionable leftist predators in an prison-like "school"...no thanks. If you WANT to have a child, you should comprehend HOW to properly raise said child and that involves being intelligent enough to know the public school system is massively fglawed, pushing radical leftist agendas, ran by the same evil ones who run Hellyweird, scripted pro sports, the music industry, central banking, and big pharma. And, remember, McGraw Hill, the company who makes all the textbooks and provides the "content" TO BE LEARNED...was owned by Robert Maxwell, father of Ghislaine, friend of Jeffrey. When I tell you pedophiles run these institutes, thats no lie.

We are being fed a diet of Violence, Hatred, Cheating, Dishonesty and Greed in every aspect of life. We have a Country, the USA, which, knowingly, elected a Convicted Felon as theur president, we have a Dictator in Russia who illegally invaded a Sovereign Nation, Ukraine, we have an Israeli Prime Minister and his entire Government and the Armed Forces committing Genocide and just as the Israelis did before are annexing and occupying parts of Palestine - as if the Palestinians were not betrayed by theur alleged 'Protector' the UK when it in collision with the USA stole most of the Land of Palestine - they'd been there for 1000s of years before the Isrealites were freed from slavery by Ancient Egyptians, the Illegal invasion an occupation of Souther Lebanon - another Sovereign Nation - then the Convicted Felon President of the USA illegally attacked Iran. Berween 1932 and 2026 the World has been subjected to almost endless Criminality by Politicians from countries which claim to be Peace Loving! Murderers, Pillagers, Dissemblers, Liars, Cheats rule today so it is no wonder Cinema has become no different.

There are so many people that vote for Labor even though they really don't know why so they are following a cult?

I had worked in the Catskills as a waiter in the 1970s . One of my co waiters was a renowned adult film later in life. I told my friends but not one ever believed me. I kept saying why would I make this up.

Realising I’m not as young as I thought. Not having enough energy to multitask as I did when I was younger. Looking at myself in the mirror, my reflection and seeing my mother look back at me. Yep I’m getting old

When I was about 8 or 9, I would take my pennies and my little sister down to the corner store and we would pick out penny candy, It was an adventure. It was fun. Today my adventures are of a more maturre variety but they still are fun. Spending time in thrift shops to uncover stocking stuffers is fun. Swimming with my grands and joining in their imaginative games is fun. My oldest daughter rides roller coasters for fun. All three of my daughters take turns creating Christmas gifts that make mom cry and THEY call it fun. Watching my youngest cat stalk lizards like he is the KING of the jungle is fun. (Don't worry, he never catches them.) Going out to get potato chips and dip (which is not recommended on my diet) is fun. You have to find your fun and not let go of it.

Your thoughts are absolutely right if someone who does a good turn to another person is completely non egoistic! Nothing expect in return for doing such good deed! Or just not the person/persons who want to boast about how much good they do to others! No money can buy a good deed done to someone! It’s a pure feeling!

It's annoying but here in Adelaide there's no law against parking their car in front of your house. You do not own the street area & unless the Council has a reason for not parking there, then you don't stand a chance. It's very frustrating.

Not me, APB! This old lady prefers a paper map, paper book, and talking to a person on the phone, or face to face! When someone tells me to 'use AI' to figure out a problem, I grab a pen and paper and figure it out myself! I'm keeping my brain! I'm smarter than technology because I refuse to use it! Oh, Yeah, Your Brain: "Use It Or Lose It"! 😂

The only reason an appliance blows fuses is because it draws too much power, meaning there is a fault somewhere inside it, a short or shorted component. While a power surge can damage your appliance, and cause it to short out, if you experienced a power surge a lot of other items in your house would likely have been damaged as well. Demand that the dryer company fixes you dryer and if they don’t go to the consumer ombudsman or threaten to take them to VCAT or an equivalent court wherever you live. It’s not expensive to do. Oh, and another good idea is to buy an individual surge buster to plug into your socket first before you plug the appliance in to protect it. Available at Bunnings or any good hardware store

You are lucky you had a toilet to use. In my day it was the dunny down the yard. They didn't have toilets mostly, it was a hole in the ground. Then came the little house down the yard with a wooden box over a hole in the ground, which was filled over with dirt & a new hole made. Then came the big drums in the hole & the Dunny/Sanitary cart came along & exchanged the drums over. My life goes a long way back. We used torn up paper (usually the phone pages) or newspapers for toilet paper.

Well sorry but I would not allow them to do that , Tell the parents you will come to their place from now on lol See what happens

Start with the parents, ask why a 12 year old is out at 3am. Why courts are letting them out on bail and then they are arrested that afternoon on the same charge. Why criminal gangs are getting away with paying kids to steal cars for them to use in Fire-bombing business that are operating on their turf. I don't have any solution except make Youth Crime a federal offense as it's not being solved at state level.

Dragged to church for 16 years, now an atheist for 36. Never forced my sons' into religion and they've turned out to be hard working, moral young men without it.
